Following a 1.5-day digital storytelling training on parliamentary affairs, photojournalists identified a critical need to acquire new skills and techniques for mobile video production. This highlights the growing importance of mobile journalism in the current landscape. Instead of shorter formats like the 1.5-day course, training opportunities should be expanded to allow for deeper engagement. As one participant expressed, ‘Mobile journalism and multimedia reporting training would be even more valuable if it were extended and tailored to specific story creation. Investing more time in mobile journalism, with fewer but more in-depth sessions, would yield greater benefits.
