Training to Report Parliamentary Affairs from Digital Lens
Aiming at building the capacity of federal parliamentary reporters to effectively utilize digital technology and platforms to capture and tell the stories of parliamentary affairs, collaborative learning workshops were organized in Lalitpur, Nepal. In the workshop, 49 journalists, including 20 females, reporting parliamentary and political affairs participated and they were given a skills-based learning opportunity to report parliamentary affairs from a digital lens. The workshops were organized in mid-December 2023 and January 2024. The training was supported by UNDP Nepal’s Parliament Support Project (PSP) and organized in informal coordination with the Journalists Association of Parliamentary Affairs (JSPA).
Renowned experts and facilitators from digital story telling, gender, reporting, and inclusion have facilitated the training.
